This is a very high end youth baseball glove that I purchased brand new for $250 at the time when my 2 sons were going through coach pitch. Look closely at pictures for close up details.

One used it 2 years and then passed down to his brother for a year until they both outgrew. This particular model and color has been discontinued, but I would not recommend buying any kid that young a glove with this high quality of leather simply due to the amount time it takes get in really good usable shape. If you are familiar with those the leather last forever but they come extremely stiff and take some serious work to break in. I would say ideal age be range of 7-9 or coach pitch.

A very cool looking glove with a great colorway that no longer exist and hard to find in gloves for this age. Could use in T-ball as you transition up to coach pitch. My sons name is written very small in pen on the inside thumb. The leather on this is very similar to your higher end heart of the hide adult model's made by Rawlings.

Could be broken in even more if you so desired. Could be easily lined out or written over with a marker. The leather is plenty broken in enough to use immediately, but also still stiff not be flimsy. Glove is used and shows signs of that with some scuffs, dirt marks, decolonization from oil during break in.

Let our loss be your gain. This glove has a small hand opening that is perfect for staying tight on young players. With that said, after a few seasons and 2 kids this glove is just starting to hit its sweet spot as my boys grow out of it.
