The glove is built with leather piping, so there no plastic. It is a very soft and comfortable glove. I have no idea what MELI means but that word is embroidered on the outer thumb. So if your pitchers are throwing hard this mitt can handle the heat.

As far as fitting goes, this glove is a snug but comfortable fit on my adult size hand and it also tight in the finger stalls. The glove does not have a Velcro wristband. The inner lining is in excellent condition as the glove extremely comfortable to hand and fingers all way up through finger stalls. This mitt is designed for catching high velocity pitches.

The glove is very clean and there no ink or marker anywhere on. The mitt has an incredible pocket as you can clearly see in the photos. This glove is for the RIGHT handed thrower as fits on LEFT hand. The 8th and the 9th photos show how glove wraps itself around a full size 12 inch round softball just fits in mitt but without lot of room so I don't think this is designed for.

The color on this glove is like a faded baby blue the built very well. It also has a wrist protector pad. I have Royal RYL-32 Blue Well Padded Broken In 32 Baseball Catchers Mitt in Excellent Condition. I also have no idea who ROYAL is .but do know that this a great mitt fully broken in, well padded, super comfortable and game ready.

I personally go through and try on every glove that sell to describe the condition feel of best my ability. Balls are not included. Once the ball enters this mitt it is not going to pop out.
