The inner lining is in excellent condition as the glove extremely comfortable to hand and fingers all way up through finger stalls. I have a Rawlings P125BF Girls Fully Broken In 12.5 Softball Glove in fully broken and game ready condition. So once the ball enters pocket of this glove it is not going to pop out. There is no ink or marker anywhere on the glove.

The glove does have a very nice Velcro wrist strap to make it as tight you like. As far as fitting goes, this mitt is snug but comfortable fit on my adult size hand and also around the wrist area. The glove also has an incredible pocket as you can clearly see in the photos.

I personally go through and try on every glove that sell to describe the condition feel of best my ability. The glove is fully broken inland it totally game ready. This glove is for the RIGHT handed thrower as fits on LEFT hand. The 7th photo shows how the glove can cradle 2 full size 12 inch round softballs at one time.

So your young player will not struggle with a hard to use glove. Balls are not included.
