If you are looking for a broken in and easy to use mitt then this is it. Balls are not included. As far as fitting goes, The glove is snug and very comfortable fit on my average adult size hand. In my opinion this mitt is designed for baseball and it has an incredible pocket as you can see clearly that totally swallows up.

The glove does have a incredible pocket as you can clearly see in the photos. If you like a tough or hard glove this is NOT that. But I m sure the mitt will work for softball also. The inner lining is in excellent condition as the glove extremely comfortable to hand and fingers all way up through finger stalls.

This particular mitt is in fully broken and totally easy to use condition. This glove is for the RIGHT handed thrower as fits on LEFT hand. I have a Wilson A500-ABM12 12 Baseball Softball First Base Mitt in FULLY BROKEN IN condition. I personally go through and try on every glove that sell to describe the condition feel of best my ability.

So once the ball enters pocket of this glove it is not going to pop out. But that would be up to you.
