The glove also has an incredible pocket as you can clearly see in the photos. It totally swallows up both a baseball and softball .trust me on this one if I were lefty playing first base .out of all my inventory would choose mitt .this glove is that nice. So once the ball enters pocket of this glove it is not going to pop out. There is long finger space.

This glove is too large for me to fit in a flat rate priority legal envelope. So you can clearly see that this glove has a really nice pocket. This glove is for the LEFT handed thrower as fits on RIGHT hand. I have a Wilson Very Large Deep Pocket 14 Baseball Softball First Base Mitt in excellent condition.
