Because the glove is fully broken in it not overly padded. There is no ink or marker anywhere on the glove. Balls are not included. So it is not a tight fit glove and there extra hand room.

There is no inner damage and the glove extremely comfortable to hand fingers all way up through finger stalls. This glove is for the RIGHT handed thrower as fits on LEFT hand. I have a Wilson A800 Soft Fit Fully Broken In 33 Baseball Catchers Mitt in excellent condition. So once the ball enters pocket of this glove it is not going to pop out.

But to me the glove doesn seem that large and it is more like a 33 mitt. So if heavy padding is your thing, you can compensate for by using a padded batting glove or sting pad. The glove does also have an incredible pocket as you can clearly see in the photos. As far as fitting goes, this glove does fit my adult size hand comfortably with room left over.

I personally go through and try on every glove that sell to describe the condition feel of best my ability. The factory stamping are suggesting that this glove is a 34. So I am listing the mitt as a 33. So the glove is nicely padded but its just not heavily.

If you are looking for a soft glove that is fully broken in this would be it.
